Goodbye 2024, Hello 2025

I know it's february so I'm already a month+ into 2025. But January is my time to reset, reorganize, reflect and figure out the rest of the year. So now I'm finally reflecting on 2024, and thinking more about what's instore for 2025. '

Let's start with 2024. When the year started I felt off. I felt like I was not creating enough and struggling with my other responsibilities balancing out. Also, being 52, my body has had a mind of its own and I was feeling off. So as 2024 was getting ready to start I decided I needed to repeat my word of the year from 2020 - Balance. It was hit or miss but during the summer something shifted and I was starting to have some metal and physical clarity. I was feeling my best just in time for the huslte and bustle of the holidays to start. As the year was coming to an end I was feeling like my balance was off again and felt like I didn't accomplish much. So as I was thinking about this post I decided to start listing off everything that happend in 2024. I'm so glad I did because as I was looking at the things I did this past year I realized that I did so much. I don't know what I was picturing in my head. Clearly it wasn't realistic. But it certainly gave me renewed energy for 2025.

2025 Word of the Year

Clarity

"Clarity doesn't always mean you know exactly what you're doing...

It does mean you know exactly who you're being and why."

"Every day that I wake, I am a new person ready for another journey. I am excited by this life that I have been given and I treasure my health, friends and family.

I have unlimited potential to create whatever life I wish for myslef. The only limits I have, are the ones that I place on myself. Every experience I have in this life creates who I am. I allow myself to experience all of the emotions that arise in me and I go forward with ease and grace."

As I'm working on Clarity I'm also working on intention and a plan of action. Maybe creating these lists and document my intentions will keep me on a clear path moving forward.
