My Project: Take a picture of myself everyday in The Little Art Barn.

Goal: Daily activity in The Little Art Barn and getting more comfortable with being in front of the camera instead of just behind the camera.

Note: I'm going to edit the blog each week as I go. That way this post is more like a diary of my project.

Week 1:

There are always bumps in the road when you start new habits and get back into the swing of things. This is my sixth year doing The 100 Day Project. I would say the biggest challenge this week was remembering to take a picture. However, one day I took it but then didn't post it. Also, I need to stop thinking that every picture has to be different. It's a small space and some days will be more creative than others. That's life. I did decide on day one that it would be cute to make the photos look like polaroids with notes on the bottom. It's an extra step and, there is probably an easier way than what I'm doing, but its been fun to see. On a positive note, even if I didn't spend all of my time in The Little Art Barn, I DID create EVERY SINGLE DAY! This challenge is about progress and week one we are off to a good start.

WEEK 2:

The week started out slow. We went to Gasparilla Art Festival. I came home inspired and with some new art for the house. The several hours in the sun stuck with me Sunday and I spent time focusing on blog post and website work. That continued into Monday, focusing on VISIBLE: Seen and Heard exibit. We are organzing this exhibit from start to finish. Lots of work on the business side of things that I have never done before. That continued later in the week with tax stuff but the creative side of things was lots of fun. I experimented with some paper casting and I'm exctied to incorporate it into a bigger piece. I just need to master the right look first.

Week 3:

Check back for more updates on how I'm doing.
